I downloaded and reviewed Rank For Commissions from David Kennedy. What a load of bovine excrement!
Where to start? OK, how about the sales page… (there are a few!)
You can view one version of the sales page here on YouTube, click here.
Funny, but the guy identified as “David” in this video looks nothing like the “David Kennedy” on the current sales page.
In the sales page video, “David” goes through the usual hoops to convince us that he is the real deal; and not some guru. There are the usual Clickbank screenshots; in this case proof of a 7 figure Clickbank income.
Then he allegedly performs a live demonstration. The video shows him walking into a random flower shop, introducing himself and convincing the site and getting the flower shop owner’s website to rank on the first page of Google in under 2 minutes. Of course, she is impressed because her “SEO” company told her it would take at least 6 months.
Obviously, he is using Google Places ( more on that later)…
Moreover, isn’t it unusual that not one customer comes into the shop while he is pitching her on how he can get her site ranked?
Rank For Commission Course
The course is comprised of PDF guides and video tutorials and 3 OTO’s.
Main Course – 4 PDF Guides + 7 Videos. The emphasis of the main course in on using YouTube, Scribed and Slideshare to drive free traffic. This is nothing new, and the course to just basic stuff.
Advanced – 5 PDF Guides + 5 Videos. The “advanced” method teaches how to capitalize on Product Launches (use JV NotifyPro.com), forum marketing, capitilizing on trending niches (Piggyback method) and email marketing. Again, most of the stuff here is rehash!
Extreme – Paid Traffic Methods such as Co-Registration, Ezine Classified Ad and list rental are taught in this module. 5 PDF Guides + 5 Videos.
The videos are narrated by a third party and present little more that an recap of what’s in the PDF guides; and that’s not much.
The creators of Rank For Commission spent more time on their slick video sales page than they did on creating a product that reveals anything new.
With all the Google updates, Social Media changes and the like, you’d think they would have at least mentioned how their methods work after Panda/Penguin. Nada…
Rank For Commission Is Not About Getting Your Site Ranked!
Lastly, the emphasis of the sales page video and David Kennedy’s attempt at proving his credibility as a 7 figure marketer was based on his ability to get sites ranked on the first page of Google… FAST! (in under 2 minutes).
Using Google Places you can get business websites ranked pretty fast. But generally Google requires an activation code and in most cases they send a verification postcard to authenticate the business. Those details are conveniently missing from the video. It appears to be staged.
There is not one iota of information in this course about getting your site ranked on page #1 of Google.
Rank For Commissions fails to live up to its claims. Save your $49 bucks and invest in a course that actually teaches you something.
