Authority Engage Review

Proven 2015 SE0 Strategy

Main Product: Authority Engage
Creator(s): Chad Nicely/Precious Precious Ngwu

In this article, I will give my review of Authority Engage.

This is an SEO plugin that the creator’s claim will increase the authority of your niche sites primarily through the use of YouTube Playlist SEO.

Additionally, Authority Engage does two things:

  1. Pulls high PR Authority sites based on your keywords that you can leave relevant comments on for high PR back-links.
  2. Curates content for authority sites that you can add to your post or page increasing the authority of your site in the eyes of Google.

Using Drag-N-Drop technology, you enter your keyword, click the button and the software pulls relevant YouTube videos and content that you can then add to your articles. It’s really simple.

I’ve been playing around with the software on a few of my sites and here is what I’ve found.

What I Like About Authority Engage

  1. WordPress plugin, so it was simple to install.
  2. Pulls relevant content & videos based on keywords you use. (You may have to test several keywords to get the content you want)
  3. High PR blogs for commenting is a real plus for quick back-links and you can do it right from within the post or page. That’s pretty cool!
  4. This is a SAFE SEO strategy that is suggested by the top SEO’s, so you do not have to worry about incurring any penalties.
  5. Creates YouTube playlist fast which increases engagement and reduces BOUNCE RATE; which is an essential component of on-site SEO.
  6. Uses Google API to pull YouTube videos. You will want to optimize using “Video Keywords”. These keywords are called “Video Keywords” because they tend to have video results on Google’s first page.

What I Don’t Like About Authority Engage

  1. Drag-N-Drop feature does not always place the videos where I want them. This feature works better on some themes than others. I’m sure it will be addressed in the next plugin update.

For me, the Pros outweigh the Cons. I’ve used similar SEO plugins in the past, namely Brian Johnson’s PushButton SEO, which performs the same task – but Push Button SEO does not create YouTube playlists. More on YouTube Playlists

Why You Want An Authority Site

We’ve all heard about the power of “authority websites“. You know sites like HuffPost, Forbes, Wikipedia. Just search your niche in Google and you’ll find that generally, the top site (those with high PR, Trust, and Citations) are authority websites.

What Is An Authority Website?

An authority site is a very high-quality website that is respected by knowledgeable people in its industry. It is a website that has content on it that is so good and makes the site so useful that people are actually glad they landed on it and want to share it with their friends.  Authority sites publish trustworthy information and link to other trustworthy places on the web. More on authority websites.

Domain Authority is actually an important signal with strong correlation to high organic search rankings. Having a higher Domain Authority than your competitors means that your site is more likely to rank higher in search engines. So, it just makes sense that if you want to give your site’s overall SEO a nice boost, you need to increase the Domain Authority. Now, this isn’t a score that you can increase by working hard. It means, and requires you to do much more than just create a site, write great content, and sleep.

With the increasing number of social media site users along with the escalating popularity of these social media sites, as well as major search engines increasingly using social signals, most search engine optimization experts agree that you need to consider making social media an important part of your SEO campaign.

Engaging in social sites can get you significant direct traffic, branding value, exposure to your target audience, and more. However, getting a handful of Likes, shares/tweets and +1s are not really enough to cause a huge impact on your SEO services campaign. But, getting an authoritative person in your space to share your content or establishing or becoming your own authority and building your own audience is another matter and this should be your main goal for your social media campaigns. These could really give you access to large audiences.

So how can you make your site an authority?

Here are some tips on how to make your site authority:

Get to Know Your Audience. Figure out your target demographic. Do a social listening research, send out customer surveys, and conduct additional research. Then make use of this information to help you gain a better understanding of how to construct your message through social media for maximum impact.

Likewise, use the information to help you better find particularly niche social sites, forums, and blogs. In this way, you can create more meaningful interaction. So make sure to look for sites that cater to your demographic and engage with them appropriately.

Start a Blog Relevant to your Niche. Make sure to post unique, high-quality content on a regular basis. However, don’t emphasize volume over quality as two greatly written and unique articles a month will do far more for you than 4 decent ones.

Share your Content on Social Network Sites. Make sure to start developing content and share your ideas through social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Google Plus and others that address industry insider knowledge, answer industry questions and provide research data and anything that showcases you and your brand as experts.

Start a Social Media Campaign. Take time to create a social media campaign that would go viral. In creating a campaign, you should first ask yourself why would people talk about and share your content. You should keep your campaign valuable, interesting and entertaining to read for it to get noticed across your target audience and encourage them to share your content to their networks/friends.Increase your Participation Level. Make sure to participate and become an active community member. Be social and participate by commenting on relevant/authority blogs, videos, forums, social network sites or whatever channels your potential customers consume. Focus more on becoming well-known by driving interactions or starting conversations that take place in front of your target audience.

Generate Press Releases and News. Publish press releases from time to time but make sure it’s something worth talking about on the web. Have your search engine optimization company create an interesting press release for you. Write something newsworthy that would make someone else be interested in writing about.

Build more Quality Links. In getting links, focus more quality over quantity. Build more links from relevant sites most especially from those sites that provide quality content to their visitors and with high-level of domain authority to help you establish your website authority in your field.

Authority Engage Review Conclusion

In the end, software like Authority Engage will save you time and effort. It’s simple to install and will boost on-page SEO and ultimately giving your site more authority in Google. But it is just a tool.

Relying only on this plugin to build website authority would be a mistake. However, if you are niche site owner who wants to get higher rankings in Google, Authority Engage is a tool I would have in my arsenal.
